Hybrid Radio: RadioEPG

Station information and schedules can be made available through RadioDNS using the RadioEPG application. They are produced based on the DAB XML schema.

The first of two types of XML documents is the XSI which describes the services available along with multimedia and links. The request is formed in the following format:

http://<Host>:<Port>/radiodns/epg/XSI.xml

The second is programme information (PI) which contains schedule information for the day request:

http://<Host>:<Port>/radiodns/epg/<Broadcast Parameters>/<YYYYMMDD>_PI.xml

These XML files can be parsed and used to create a human readable EPG for the listener. The example given below for Classic FM.
